The high-frequency (HF) vacuum wood dryer is an advanced low-temperature drying machine operating under vacuum conditions. Compact in size yet remarkably faster than conventional kilns, this system is suitable for all wood types – from veneer sheets and thin boards to thick planks and even large solid wood blocks.
For thin materials such as veneer or flooring lamellas, the HF vacuum dryer significantly shortens the drying cycle and eliminates warping or shrinkage. For dense, hard wood like Merbau or Mahogany, it ensures uniform moisture content, crack-free surfaces and cores, no spark generation, and short drying times that meet stringent production demands.
High-frequency waves directly excite water molecules inside the wood, generating internal heat.
Heat is generated from the core outward, promoting moisture migration to the surface.
The vacuum system accelerates water evaporation, drastically reducing drying time compared to atmospheric pressure methods while preserving wood color and minimizing deformation.
A PLC control cabinet or touch screen enables easy setup, monitoring, and control of the entire drying process.
Custom PLC programs tailored for each wood type enable fully automatic operation. Even non-expert operators can achieve optimal drying results with ease.

Load wood onto the feeding cart and insert electrodes between each stacked layer.
Push the cart into the drying chamber and securely close the door.
Start the system: the vacuum pump activates first. Once the set vacuum level is reached, the HF generator automatically starts heating.
When the upper temperature threshold is reached, the HF pauses. It resumes when the temperature drops to the lower threshold. Throughout the process, the vacuum pressure is maintained near -0.09 MPa, and the pump restarts if pressure drops.
Once drying is complete, the weight sensor evaluates moisture loss and shuts down the system – ending the drying cycle.
