AUTOMATIC WOOD DRYING KILN

1. Wood drying system description:

The advanced automatic wood drying system according to Italy technology of Thien Hung company is fully automatic by controlling the temperature, humidity and the circulation of air in the kiln. Wood can be loaded into the kiln by forklift.

The controller is the most vital part of the kiln, and Thien Hung uses an Italy controller that specializes in the production of automatic controls, especially those used for wood kilns, with studies and improvements in drying cycles applied to wood kilns.

The wood drying system of Thien Hung utilizes steam to heat the drying process.

Thien Hung wood kilns can use software to connect the controllers of the kilns to the central computer in the control room. By applying this software, it will be used exclusively for the technical manager of the wood drying factory to remotely control and manage the entire wood kiln system.

WOOD DRYING KILN CONTROL SYSTEM

dTOUCH marks a new advancement in wood kiln control systems, providing a perfect blend of advanced, flexible traditional control systems with extensive expertise from leading wood drying specialists around the world.

Developed in collaboration with IVALSA - an Italian research institute under the National Research Council (CNR), dTOUCH also features a dedicated laboratory focusing on researching and testing wood drying processes, ensuring superior quality and efficiency.

 

DIVERSE DRYING PROGRAM LIBRARY

The dTOUCH system includes a vast library of basic programs for over 400 types of wood, including specialized cycles for maintaining or altering the natural color of the wood, quick drying processes, and more.
dTOUCH uses this database along with information from sensors and user-provided data (e.g., desired quality, time/quality preferences, special requirements) to consistently generate the most appropriate program for optimal drying results as per the user's demands.

 

AUTOMATIC PROGRAM OPTIMIZATION

This feature is especially useful for repeated drying of materials with uniform characteristics (by type, thickness, and initial conditions), allowing the optimization of drying programs based on the system and specific needs of each customer.
After each drying cycle, customers can provide feedback on the program's effectiveness. dTOUCH uses this information to adjust the drying program and saves the changes for future use.
This unique feature enables users to report any issues encountered during the drying process (e.g., extended drying times, wood defects, etc.) via a simple guided process. The system will automatically analyze the problem and suggest the most appropriate solution, updating the current drying program directly.

 

SENSOR SYSTEM OF THE CONTROLLER

dTOUCH allows flexible customization of the number and type of probes to meet all user control requirements, including the use of specialized sensors or the integration of special functions such as wood sterilization according to ISPM15 standards.

 

CENTRALIZED COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEM

dVIEW is a new software designed for remote control and management, specifically for the dTOUCH controller line.
Running on PCs with operating systems such as Windows™ XP, Vista, 7, or 8, it enables the management of all wood drying kilns at a facility from a single location (up to 32 wood drying kilns for standard configuration).
A distinguishing feature of dVIEW is its similarity between the computer interface and the on-site control panel interface, making it easy for anyone familiar with the internal control panel to work on the computer.
From the PC software, the operator can perform all actions available from the internal control panel. Additionally, the PC software can record drying data during the wood drying process, displaying them in tables or graphs.
The software can also generate reports to certify that HT processing was conducted according to international ISPM15 regulations.

Wood drying kiln fan

Fan Blade Design: The fan blade is specifically engineered for wood drying kilns, featuring equal airflow capacity in both forward and reverse directions. Special Fan Structure: The fan assembly consists of multiple components, including 9 blades, a front pitch, a rear pitch, and a tapered key. These parts are modular and can be disassembled. If any component fails, it can be individually replaced, which minimizes maintenance costs during operation. Blade Material: High-grade ADC aluminum alloy. Fan Blade Diameter: 800 mm. Shaft Bore Diameter: 28 mm.
